This week, we modified our design for the tunnel bees will go through for detection and tagging. Initially, we made it so that the device detects if a bee is tagged or not and then it will go down one path or another to be either tagged or released. However, this time we revised the design to be more simple, where there is only one straight tunnel that allows a single bee to go through and a piston will lift the bee upwards to be tagged with possibly a q-tip with paint on it. After the bee will be brought back down and released through the end of the tunnel.
